In 2023 I started the International Women's Day March Vancouver Committee. I chair the committee and we organize the march annually. The event has during the last three years been covered by all the major news outlets in Vancouver and have had speakers on various topics such as abortion rights, the Women Life Freedom movement, sex worker's rights, trans rights and the Palestinian freedom movement to name a few.

I recognize that I live and work on the stolen lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. Working from a world-wide anti-colonial standpoint is essential to my work in order to build bridges and attempt to heal some of the wounds that have been caused by colonizing settlers. Furthermore, I strive to highlight Indigenous voices in all the work I do, as well as honour the land that they have kept safe since time immemorial.
